Audi stop production of A6 hybrid

The management of Audi has decided to cease production of the hybrid version of the A6 because of poor sales. 4 years sold only 4,000 units of the model, 80% of them are sold on the Asian market. Under the hood of hybrid Audi A6 to the unit, which includes the 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine with four-cylinder developing 211 hp and an electric motor with 54 hp power. The hybrid also has a set of lithium-ion batteries and 8-speed automatic, with only electricity can travel up to 60 kilometers. This combination allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 sec. The maximum speed of this model is 240 km/h with an average fuel consumption is 6.2l/100km. The emese level of harmful CO2 is 142 g/km.
Besides low demand model a major role in stopping his play and the fact that the updated Audi A6, which was shown at the Paris Motor Show earlier this month, has received two very economical engines range from Ultra. These are the 1.8-liter TSI petrol with fuel consumption 5.7l/100km and 2.0-liter diesel, spending 4.2l/100km.
Audi currently offers hybrid modifications for two of its models – the A8 sedan and crossover Q5. Their stopping production, however, is not yet planned.
